Frequently Asked Questions

You can complete the inquiry form under the Contact section and we will arrange an initial consultation to discuss your matter and the potential fees involved.

There is no cost to you for an initial consultation as we use the initial consultation to determine whether we are able to take on your matter and the fees that will be involved.

At your initial consultation, we will discuss fees and payment options.  In select cases, we may be able to represent you on a contingency fee basis, where you only pay the fee portion if your matter is successful and payment is collected at the end.  In other cases, we may be able to offer a payment plan or schedule.

You can email us at info@anitawonglaw.com or you can complete the inquiry form on the Contact page.  You can also call or text us at 705-321-2899.

Whether you need a lawyer is what we will discuss during our initial consultation.  We use the initial consultation to find out the unique circumstances of your situation and whether you need legal help and if so, what the best type of legal help is for you.  If we are unable to help you, we will direct you to other sources such a another lawyer, a paralegal, a government agency or a legal aid clinic.

We know that not everything in life fits neatly into one category.  During the initial consultation, we will discuss the specific facts of your situation to see if we can help.  If we are not able to assist you, we will try to refer you to someone who can.
